About Sound Advice

Sound Advice was founded by dance music Producer/DJ Jason Vasilas (aka JV) in 2002. After developing Tinnitus from years of loud music, Vasilas was determined to stop the progression of this condition. His research led him to discover the Musician's Earplugs - the only high fidelity solution to hearing protection.

With the realization that awareness of this product (and hearing conservation in general) was incredibly low, Vasilas decided to start his own company and take this product to the street in January of 2002. Having sold countless earplugs to DJs, musicians, bartenders, and night club owners, Sound Advice has established itself in the Dallas area with a quality product and quality service.

Sound Advice employs certified, state-registered Audiologists to perform the ear impression process. The impressions are then sent off to laboratories in Colorado where they are custom built for you. The entire process, start-to-finish takes about two weeks.
